Die Build
Continental Tooling Concepts (CTC) builds small and medium sized stamping dies. If you need to lower your tooling budget without compromising quality and delivery, then we can help. We are very lean. We have very low overhead. And we’re highly automated. This translates into top quality dies built fast, accurate, and cheap. We don’t do die tryout because it’s not necessary due to our highly accurate simulation capacity. We build all dies completely, no mater how complex or difficult, before going to the press. Then we head straight to the press to prove them out and see what final adjustments are needed. This makes the build process much more linear with far fewer iterative cycles for trim development, forming tryouts etc. All dies are 100% replaceable to the 3D CAD data which is provided at delivery.
You care about getting your tools built fast, for a low price, and with high quality. We’ve structured our business to do just that. We leverage software for every step of the build from design, material ordering, machining, assembly etc. You won’t find any prints in our shop because we don’t use them. Die makers use 3D CAD, as do machinists, etc. The results speak for themselves. We’re faster and cheaper than other shops because of the way we do things.
